In memory of Leo Ramos
In the Old Testament book of Exodus, God gives instructions on building the altar in the Temple. The altar is 5 cubits (measurement of length, width, height) and shaped like a cube sliced in half horizontally.
Linens supported with rings on pillars were stretched forth from the four sides of the altar: a linen cloth was stretched forth NORTH for 100 cubits; a linen cloth was stretched forth 100 cubits going SOUTH; a linen cloth was stretched forth WEST for 50 cubits; and a linen cloth was stretched forth EAST for only 50 cubits.
From a bird's eye view from the sky, it is a linen cross.
Yes. A 200 cubits CROSS in the Old Testament in Exodus!
The linen cross was a prophetic archetype pointing toward Jesus Christ, the lamb sacrificed on the cross (altar), and after his death, His body (Temple) wrapped in linen cloths.
